The Edmonton Marathon – A Runner’s Dream

I started running about 20 years ago with a great, big goal: Quitting smoking. I thought that if I could replace my bad habit with a healthy one I’d have a better shot at success. Once I’d started moving my feet, that first goal led me to dream of an even bigger one: I didn’t just want to run, I wanted to run marathons. I knew that I needed some big opportunities down the road to build towards – something to keep me motivated that would challenge me in ways I’d never been challenged.
